Blue Firth is an artist and designer working with clay. She’s also an old friend of mine so it was especially glorious to get to work with her and my ‘work wife’ writer pal Jessica Johnson for a story that was featured in Oh magazine earlier this year.
I photographed her in her Nottingham studio where she makes ceramics for sale in her shop Dohm, alongside taking on commercial and private commissions. Magic and ritual are strong themes within her creative work which she also discusses on her podcast that’s dedicated to Witchcraft, ‘A Common Craft’
