There are some people you know are going to be great performers in front of the camera and Brix didn’t disappoint. With a lighthearted confidence she posed with ease, moving around with every click of the shutter. It was quite refreshing to photograph somebody who enjoys the camera’s gaze, or at least knows how to fake it. Often I’m greeted with as much anticipation as a dentist and to be honest I don’t blame people, I hate being the other side of the lens too.
But Brix was a joy to photograph, happy to try out different backdrops within her gorgeous London flat and eager to make sure I left with all the shots I needed. Of course I couldn’t quite leave without shoehorning one of her trusty pugs in for a few.
