I was recently commissioned by Duncan Swain of Information is Beautiful to do some portraits of the team before their first ever iib award ceremony in the stunning setting of the ICA.
Information is beautiful started off as a collection of info-graphics by data journalist David McCandless which was published by Harper in 2009. This year saw the growth of this project to the first award ceremony which scoured the world to celebrate the best in data visualisation graphics. Categories ranged from Interactive Visualisation to Best Individual Contribution.
