In my hysteria of being allowed to photograph James McAvoy I went crazy and did several set ups which is why I have broken down the shoot into two posts.
Not only was I being commissioned to photograph James, I was also photographing his Macbeth director Jamie Lloyd.
Although less used to being in front of the camera, Jamie was really photogenic and a very natural performer. It became a contest at one point whilst they were being photographed together because he kept adjusting his glasses and positioning his legs in a really cool way, which put the pressure on James to up his stakes. They are obviously very good friends so it was a pleasure to hang out and be part of their crew for a small period of time.
