The moment I arrived at Primavera Sound this year I was told the magazine had secured a rooftop shoot/interview with Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker.
As a massive fan of Tame Impala I was thrilled to get the opportunity to do an intimate portrait before they played the festival.
The rooftop promised more than it delivered however, boasting great views but unfortunately all behind 6 foot high planes of glass. I did manage to indulge my love of architecture and geometric shapes though and found a sort of cube within the frame to place him in. The beautiful sidelight from the Barcelona sun helped tremendously too. The full interview can be read online here
