Jon Bon Jovi

I found out about this shoot with four days notice, the very nature of shoots (especially with celebs) is that they can change or be cancelled at the last minute so it was for this reason that I waited until the actual day to text my JBJ super fan sister-in-law the news. I also had a horrifying premonition she may somehow travel down to London, sneak into one of my bags and pop out of midway through the shoot just to touch him (Sorry Ellie!).
As I trekked over to The Savoy (which, as an aside, has some of the best sofas dotted throughout the hotel including in the lift) with my kit, the ridiculously warm jumper I’d decided against wearing a t shirt under was turning me into a sweaty mess. I had to make an impromptu Topshop stop en route to buy a er top all the while thinking, ‘now what kind of t shirt would Jon Bon Jovi buy?’ I opted for the rock staple of black in the end.
With my body temperature now under control, I could focus on the shoot. There was a gorgeous window in the hotel suite at the Savoy we were in so I used the light that was flooding in for a full length and then stuck to more of a plain backdrop for the close ups to get maximum rock god face action. Within minutes it was over and he was on to the next, the end of a weary three day press jaunt.
