TOY

Just out in December and January’s bumper edition of The Fly are a couple of portraits I took of TOY. Having to fit in between a live recording session they were doing at The Guardian and arrangements for their tour the following day, I had to find a location which was close to Kings Cross and that would suit their aesthetic. I decided upon an old faithful plot which was a mere five minute walk away and at this time of year is an explosion of yellow and orange hues from the leaves which complimented the black adornments of the band. Even though they had tons going on that day, I found them to be utterly delightful. Charlie filled me in with historical knowledge of the location which he seemed to have in abundance and they were happy to go along with whatever I suggested.
It was a really enjoyable, educational and successful shoot!
