Sam Gyimah MP is the current Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Childcare and Education. As with many government offices, his was incredibly plain-walled, filled with a couple of members of his staff and a basic fridge/kettle area. There was a window, yet it didn’t offer much natural light so I used it as a backdrop to introduce some pattern from the curtains.
I never have very long with Politicians due to their hectic schedules, and my experience with Sam was no exception, however there was an ease to his posing and he offered plenty of friendly smiles which brightened the shot.
