Having shot to stardom and billed as one of this years hottest pop sensations at the age of just 21, I wasn’t necessarily expecting to meet such a down to earth, level-headed, sweet person. Being in such demand, and carrying the burden of the pressure that comes with it, must mess with your head at such a young age but as we meet in Birmingham part way through her tour, she’s as chilled as can be. And great at posing. She can do smouldering, edgy cool for a few frames then just as easily break into natural happy smiles as we chat away about her tour so far. In just 40 minutes we covered a wide range of poses and faces, then it was back on the train to London for me and a gig in a packed O2 Institute for her.
