An ongoing, collaborative project with writer Jessica Johnson to commemorate 100 years of the Women’s Institute. The organisation now boasts 212,000 members, a vast union of women from all walks of life, each with individual stories to tell.
Our series concentrates on those members with an enthusiasm for baking, profiling them in their kitchens at home. We uncover the recipes they treasure and discover the present day make up of the nations largest women’s organisation, the NFWI.
A handful of images are shown here, detailing the members and their ‘bakes’, but to read the accompanying text and learn more about the project, please get in touch.
