Lockdown roof series
During the first and most strict part of the UK Covid-19 lockdown I created new work from a tiny sliver of roof ledge which was the only outside space I had access to. This small area became a lifeline for sanity and I would gravitate there at different times of the day seeking out fresh air and a little spontaneity from the daily rituals of living in quarantine with a young son. Sometimes I would visit at night sitting in the cold for short, silent periods in solidarity with the London skyline.
I documented some of those reflective moments with time exposures.
