I am unbelievably proud to be part of a brand new collective of 209 female photographers which is the brainchild of photographer Hilary Wood. She devised the project, which set 209 female photographers to take portraits of the UK’s 209 female MP’s, as a way of commemorating the centenary of women winning the right to vote.
The shoots have taken place all summer around the country and now printing has begun for the exhibition which takes place in Parliament on 14th December this year.
Having seen out-takes and bts shots on the @209women insta it looks to be quite an amazing celebration of women all round with an array of different styles and I can’t wait to see it all come together.
Here’s an out-take from my shoot with my local MP Helen Hayes.
