For this months Stool Pigeon magazine I finally got the chance to use my neon lights.
My subject was Daphni which is the electronic dance moniker for Caribou‘s Dan Snaith. He seemed the perfect candidate to experiment with a splash of rave style colour and affably played host to my whim by allowing me inside his recording studio which had white walls to emphasise the hue.
I found Dan to be a friendly, softly spoken guy who was really interesting to hang out with. I was grateful that he humoured my enthusiasm for the lights and was happy to sit there whilst I frantically waved neon tubes around him to get the desired effect.
