I have started photographing my small, yet ever growing collection of matchboxes.
I particularly love the old ones which have adopted an aged, shabby feel and are advertising motels in America.
It’s amazing that they have travelled over the Atlantic and been in and out of various peoples pockets for twenty years or more,
yet most of them have their matches in tact.
