Every month Coast magazine visits a seaside tourist destination for the weekend to showcase the delights of the area. For Octobers edition I was asked to document the trip from the viewpoint of the features editor Jessica.

We spent the weekend travelling between Bridport and West Bay (where they film the exterior scenes of the popular Broadchurch drama), and sampling the local specialities. My favourite was probably stuffing my face with home-baked Dorset apple cake fresh from the West Bay arts centre, yet we also enjoyed walking part of the Jurassic coast with our hotel owners dog, discovering treasures at the Old Albion antiques market and enjoying the first signs of Summer with a beach stroll.
