One step into the apartment of textile designer Sarah Campbell and my head buzzed. So much colour and texture and collected curiosities filling every room, it truly was a photographers playground. The last time I stepped into someones home with such excitement was that of another textile designer, Kaffe Fassett.

Sarah greeted us with a vast smile wearing a shirt as boldly decorated as her home, truly exuding creativity. After a brief chat I was left to explore, each room more colourful than the next and housing piles of cherished decorative patterned fabrics and prints.
It was hard to narrow the shoot down to just three locations, but I finally decided upon the workroom and the lounge area as Sarah had looked so relaxed sat there during the interview.
A fascinating lady living in a fascinating abode and even after decades working in the industry it was inspiring to see her still exploring new techniques within her work and getting a hindsight perspective on commercial creative practice.
